General Information/T&C’s

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

This quotation is subject to SetMeUp Installation Services CC Terms & Conditions of Sale.

Customers’ terms of purchase deferring there from will be valid only if confirmed by us in writing.

 

PRICES

All prices exclude Value Added Tax.

The price is strictly Nett and not subject to any discounts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Terms; 50% on order & 50% on delivery and installation.

Quotations; Are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated in writing, but are subject to fluctuations in suppliers’ price lists.

 

DELIVERY

Whilst every effort is made to dispatch goods as advised, the company does not guarantee dispatch on any specific date and shall not be liable for any damages for failure to effect delivery /dispatch timeously for any reason beyond the company’s reasonable control, including but not limited to, inability to secure transport, labour, power, materials, materials, equipment or supplies or by reason of an act of God, war,  civil disturbance riot state of emergency, strike, lockout or other labour disputes, fire , flood drought or legislation. The customer shall not be entitled to cancel any order by reason of such delay.

 

SUPPLY AND INSTALL OF THE INFRA-STRUCTURE

We are not electrical and/or building contractors. The supply and install/ changing/ re-routing/ modifying of the required electrical points, conduits, draw boxes, the infra-structure I.E. conduits; trunking; bulkheads; enclosures; power skirting’s: electrical points; draw boxes with cover plates; ect. to meet the system requirements are not included in our estimate- unless specified.   

 

INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND ON-SITE TRAINING;

Training of operators are included in this quotation unless otherwise stated.

 

AFTER-SALES SUPPORT;

SetMeUp Installation Services CC has - trained service Technicians to maintain all equipment.

WARRANTY;

The highest possible standards are maintained for our goods, services and products and are guaranteed on behalf of our suppliers for a period of 12 (twelve) months unless otherwise stated in writing, subject to the conditions mentioned below, against defects in material & workmanship. This warranty is subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:

Our liability for faulty goods does not extend to deterioration caused by wear and tear, or to damage due to faulty or careless handling, excessive strain, unsuitable service conditions, improper use or any other conditions whatsoever, which is beyond our control.

The warranty becomes null and void if alterations or repairs are carried out by the purchaser or by third parties without our prior consent.

Our liability is confined to our goods or parts and does not cover damages caused to plant machinery or other equipment or for any consequential loss or damage whatsoever.

SetMeUp Installation Services CC will not accept any claims for shortages or breakages where Purchaser has accepted in writing the receipt of goods without checking.

 

CANCELLATION;

Requests on special orders, local or imported will not be accepted. All other confirmed and accepted orders cannot be cancelled except with our written consent.

OWNERSHIP & RISK;

Notwithstanding that all risk in and to all goods sold by the company to the customer shall pass on delivery, ownership in all goods sold and delivered shall remain the property of SetMeUp Installation Services CC until the full purchase price has been paid
